Avraamis Avraam
Registered social worker and co-founder of Kairos Safeguarding Centre
Avraamis Avraam is a registered social worker (Social Work England) with a BSc and DipSW and 38 years of experience across a variety of local authorities and UK central government.
Across that career he has worked as a safeguarding lead, a social work practitioner and a senior manager. He has also worked in specialist mental health, with under-fives and adolescents.
He currently sits on two panels looking at social work improvement programmes, and delivers training to UK social workers and to private schools and organisations in Cyprus.
He is the author of The Impact of Modern Social Work: The State and Prospects of Social Work in Modern Britain.
Louise Russell
Co-founder and Mental Health Lead
Louise Russell is a qualified social worker and RTC/RTT therapist, specialising in mental health for children and families. She has over 35 years of experience in front-line practice.
Louise is co-founder of Kairos Safeguarding Centre and our mental health lead.
